abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide a dental pretreatment material which can be used to adhere a dental restoration to tooth substance, particularly dentin, and which can be expected to have a high bactericidal effect. SOLUTION: A dental pretreatment material used in combination with a dental adhesive containing a polymerizable monomer component containing a polymerizable monomer having an acidic group and a polymerization initiator, the material functioning as a disinfectant. Hypochlorous acid (HClO) in molecular form, and an aqueous hypochlorous acid solution with a pH of 6 to 7 in which divalent or higher polyvalent metal ions such as Sr 2+ are dissolved. A dental pretreatment material that dissolves and removes organic components while leaving the components intact to prevent the formation of a hybridized smear layer. [Selection figure] None |
