abstract |
A multi-layer thin film structure that provides omnidirectional structural color and includes materials that are suitable for consumer applications. The method includes a reflector, a high refractive index layer on or encapsulating the reflector, and a metallic iron absorber layer on or encapsulating the high refractive index layer. 5-layer thin film structure.
