A pigment composition containing composite pigment particles containing C.I. Pigment Red 150, wherein C.I. I. A pigment composition containing 10 to 50 mol % of Pigment Red 150. It is preferable that powder X-ray diffraction using CuKα rays of the composite pigment particles does not have a maximum peak within the range of diffraction angle (2θ)=13.5 to 14.5°.
