abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxially stretched PBT film composed of a resin composition containing PBT using 1,4-butanediol derived from a plant, in particular, using a conventional fossil fuel as a raw material while being a carbon-neutral film. To provide a biaxially stretched PBT film which is comparable in physical properties such as mechanical properties to the biaxially stretched PBT film. SOLUTION: The film has a resin component made of polybutylene terephthalate resin. The polybutylene terephthalate resin is a polybutylene terephthalate resin (A) containing plant-derived 1,4-butanediol as a diol component and a polybutylene terephthalate resin containing only 1,4-butanediol derived from fossil fuel as a diol component. A biaxially stretched polybutylene terephthalate film comprising a resin containing (B) in a mass ratio of (A): (B) = 100 to 1 part by mass: 0 to 99 parts by mass. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
