titleOfInvention Luminous device and planar light source
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device having further improved light extraction efficiency. A light emitting device contains a light emitting element 120 having a first upper surface 120a and a first side surface 120c, and a wavelength conversion material, and a first translucent member 130A covering at least a part of the first side surface of the light emitting element. The first translucent member having the second upper surface 130a that does not overlap the first upper surface of the light emitting element in the plan view, and the first upper surface of the light emitting element and the second upper surface of the first translucent member. A first translucent member 140A that covers and has a third upper surface 140a, that covers the second translucent member that substantially does not contain a wavelength conversion material, and the third upper surface of the second translucent member. It has a light-reflecting member 150. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
