abstract Kind Code: A1 An object of the present disclosure is to provide a method for protecting the kidney. Kind Code: A1 The inventors have found that compounds of formula (I) have a renoprotective effect. Accordingly, the present disclosure provides renal protective compositions comprising a compound of formula (I) or an ester, oxide, pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof. In another aspect, there is provided a composition for treating or preventing renal disorders comprising said compound.
