abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for efficiently preparing crystal form I of dabigatran etexilate methanesulfonate having a monomodal particle size distribution shape. SOLUTION: Crystal form I of dabigatran ethanelate methanesulfonate (davigatlan etexate methanesulfonate) is added as a seed crystal to a solution of dabigatran ethanelate base (free base) for 15 minutes to 48 hours. This is a production method for obtaining crystal form I of dabigatran etexilate methanesulfonate having a monomodal particle size distribution by adding methanesulfonic acid after stirring and stirring.
