titleOfInvention | Friction material |
abstract | 【Task】 Creep in a friction material obtained by molding a friction material composition of NAO material, which contains a binder, a fiber base material, an organic friction adjustment material, an inorganic friction adjustment material, and a lubricant and does not contain a copper component, which is used for disc brake pads. Provided is a friction material having sufficient braking effect and wear resistance without the occurrence of abnormal noise or rust sticking. SOLUTION: As the friction material composition, calcium silicate particles as an inorganic friction adjusting material were added in an amount of 2 to 10% by weight based on the total amount of the friction material composition, and non-whisker-like titanate was used as an inorganic friction adjusting material based on the total amount of the friction material composition. A friction material composition is used containing up to 30% by weight, 1 to 9% by weight of metal sulfide as a lubricant, and 3 to 10% by weight of graphite as a lubricant.
