PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the influence of a short circuit of a power storage device. A power storage device 1 includes a case 10 and an electrode body 20 housed in the case 10. The electrode body 20 includes a negative electrode layer 21A of the outermost layer closest to the case 10, a second positive electrode layer 26A laminated inside the case 10 with respect to the negative electrode layer 21A of the outermost layer, and a second layer. It has a third negative electrode layer 21B laminated inside the case 10 with respect to the positive electrode layer 26A. A heat insulating layer or an endothermic layer is arranged between the positive electrode layer 26A of the second layer and the negative electrode layer 21B of the third layer.
