abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation membrane or the like having high separation performance and permeation performance. SOLUTION: The membrane cross-sectional area of the total area of voids having a virtual diameter of 10.0 μm or more in a cross section containing cellulose ester as a main component, having a plurality of voids, and parallel to the longitudinal direction of the membrane and parallel to the film thickness direction. The ratio b of the total area of the voids having a virtual diameter of 1.6 to 3.0 μm to the total area of the voids having a virtual diameter smaller than 10.0 μm is 10 to 40%. The ratio c of the total area of the voids having a virtual diameter of 0.4 to 1.2 μm to the total area of the voids having a virtual diameter smaller than 10.0 μm is 10 to 50%, and b and c.
