titleOfInvention Treatment method of organic wastewater containing persistent COD component and chemicals for biological treatment
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat a COD component biologically without major modification of a biological wastewater treatment facility such as a conventional activated sludge treatment facility even when the wastewater containing a persistent COD component is treated. Provision of a method for treating organic wastewater containing a persistent COD component and a chemical for biological treatment, which can improve the capacity and reduce the COD value of the treated water. SOLUTION: In a method for treating organic wastewater, which comprises a biological treatment step of biologically treating organic wastewater containing a persistent COD component in a biological treatment tank, the biological treatment step includes vitamins B12 and pyroquinolinin. A method for treating organic waste water containing a persistent COD component and a chemical for biological treatment, in which two or more selected from three types of incineration ash of quinone and organic waste are added for biological treatment.
