titleOfInvention | Method for measuring halogen partial pressure and method for manufacturing the reference electrode and its diaphragm used for this. |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a method for measuring a halogen partial pressure of a system containing a halide-based molten salt phase by an electromotive force method using a light and light battery using a halide ion conductor as a solid electrolyte, and to use the light and light battery for this method. A method for producing a diaphragm of a reference electrode and a halide ion conductor is provided. SOLUTION: This is a method for measuring a halogen partial pressure using a light and dark battery provided with a diaphragm, in which a halide ion conductor is sintered between a molten salt to be measured and a reference substance composed of a metal and a halide. A solid electrolyte composed of a body is provided as the diaphragm, and the halogen partial pressure determined by the chemical equilibrium between a plurality of chemical species or the molten salt and the molten metal in the molten salt phase is measured by the electromotive force method.
