abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphorus-containing active ester capable of exhibiting excellent flame retardancy, low dielectric property and adhesion in the obtained cured product, a curable resin composition containing the phosphorus-containing active ester, and the above-mentioned. It is an object of the present invention to provide a cured product obtained by using a curable resin composition, and further, a semiconductor encapsulant, a semiconductor device, a prepreg, a circuit board, a build-up film, and the like using the curable resin composition. The present invention has a structure in which a residue (A) of a phosphorus-containing polyhydric alcohol compound and a residue (Q) of an aromatic polyvalent carboxylic acid are bonded via an ester bond. The present invention relates to a phosphorus-containing active ester characterized in that the terminal is sealed with a residue (C) of a monovalent aromatic hydroxyl group-containing compound.
