The present disclosure is a method of treating a heart valve disease, for example, calcified aortic valve disease (CAVD), for a subject in need thereof, in a therapeutically effective amount of any one of the compounds of formulas I-X or a pharmaceutical thereof. Provided is a method by administering a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, solvate or prodrug. Also provided are methods of identifying candidate compounds for the treatment of heart valve diseases, such as CAVD. |
