Selected from linear or branched perfluoroalkyl groups containing linked O or N atoms, or (ii) bonded together to have 4-8 ring carbon atoms and optionally at least Forming a total fluorinated ring structure containing one linked O atom, and (b) X and Y are (i) independently selected from perfluoroalkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms. Or (ii) combine together to form a total fluorinated ring structure with 5-6 ring carbon atoms] described herein as a total fluorinated aminoolefin compound. Such compounds can be used in heat transfer, foaming or immersion cooling applications, or as Rankin cycle working fluids, coatings or lubricants, or as dielectric fluids. The present specification also discloses a method for producing such a compound.
