A novel 1,2-diacyl that suppresses the overexpression of various inflammatory cytokines such as IL-4 and IL-6 or the chemokine CXCL8 associated with the migration of inflammatory cells, and is useful for the improvement, prevention or treatment of inflammation-related diseases. A glycerol compound, a method for producing the same, and an immunomodulator containing the glycerol compound as an active ingredient are disclosed. The 1,2-diacylglycerol compound is represented in the specification by Chemical Formula 2. |
