abstract | In the present invention, racemic nicotine of formula (Ia) as a mixture of (R) -enantiomer and (S) -enantiomer is enantiomerically represented by formulas (Ib) and (Ic). With respect to the method of separating into pure (S)-and (R) -nicotine, the method is a mixture of L-enantiomers and D-enantiomers of O, O'-disubstituted tartaric acid, D of L-enantiomers. Add a mixture having a molar ratio of −enantiomer to 80:20 to 95: 5 to obtain (S) -nicotine of formula (1-b), or add O, O'-dibenzoyl-D-tartaric acid. By obtaining (R) -nicotine of formula (1-c). |
