titleOfInvention Medical grade actuators with modular construction and medical devices containing them
abstract An electric motor, a mechanical transmission, and a magnetic coupling means configured to transmit mechanical torque from the electric motor to the mechanical transmission when the electric motor is powered by an energy source. The electric motor and the first portion of the magnetic coupling means kinematically connected to the electric motor are located in the first casing module and airtightly sealed, and the mechanical transmission. And a second portion of the coupling means kinematically coupled to the mechanical transmission is located within a second casing module, the first and second casing modules being the first and second casing modules. The second casing module is detachably connected to each other so that the first and second parts of the magnetic coupling means are magnetically coupled together when the first and second casing modules are connected. Actuator (1) for medical device (100), including each complementary immobilization means.
