A vehicle suspension element with a coating, a method of depositing the coating, and a coating composition for this method are provided. The vehicle suspension element comprises a coating (11) containing a reticulated polymer matrix (11E) containing polyepoxide and having a minimum thickness equal to at least 120 μm. Methods for depositing the coating (11) on the vehicle suspension element include a step of providing the suspension element to be coated (101) and a step of preheating the surface of the suspension element to a preheating temperature equal to at least 80 ° C.
