Methods and devices for manufacturing three-dimensional objects. The device includes a plurality of material deposition heads terminated with nozzles, one or two of which are configured to deposit the first material to form the first and second pattern layers. When the first and second pattern layers are deposited, the first and second pattern layers are laterally offset from each other so that a space (empty volume) with a changing cross section is formed. In some examples, two or more nozzles can be used to deposit the corresponding first and second pattern layers. The nozzles can move independently of each other. |
