titleOfInvention Automatic rule generation for laboratory equipment
abstract Disclosed herein are used for automated decision making when operating instruments and analyzing and processing biological samples (eg, with respect to the presence, absence, or concentration of specimens). A method and system for automatically generating power processing rules. For example, some automatically generated processing rules allow some test results obtained from biological samples to be automatically validated and transmitted, while other test results are for additional scrutiny. Conditions and criteria that are flagged for can be described. Processing rules can be generated based on the observed patterns and actions are taken on historical test results associated with similar biological samples.
