abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a dust core having good magnetic characteristics even in a high frequency band. A dust core material 5 has a soft magnetic powder 6, an insulating coating 7 that covers the surface of the soft magnetic powder 6, and a lubricant 8. The soft magnetic powder 6 contains Fe as a main component and has 1.5 to 2.5 at. % Cr is contained, and the average particle size on a volume basis is 10 μm or more and less than 30 μm.
