abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gamma ray microscope capable of generating a high-quality image. A collimator 10 is provided so as to surround a measurement target area, and a plurality of holes are provided from an inner surface to an outer surface, which is a surface of the collimator 10 on the measurement target area side. The gamma ray detection unit 20 detects gamma rays that have passed through the holes of the collimator 10. The data processing unit 30 includes recording means 32, two photon emission determination means 34, and an image generation means 36. When a detection event occurs in the gamma ray detection unit 20, the recording means 32 stores information on the gamma ray generation position and the detection time in the storage means 32. The two-photon emission determination means 34 extracts from the detection event stored in the storage means 32 as a gamma-ray detection event due to the two-photon emission when there are two detection events within a predetermined time. The image generation means creates a position distribution of gamma ray generation positions due to two-photon emission extracted by the two-photon emission determination means.
