PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modification of an RNA-related enzyme for improving productivity. The present invention provides, in particular, methods and compositions for large-scale production of capped mRNAs using SUMO-guanylyl transferase fusion proteins. In one aspect, the invention provides a method of producing a capped RNA or RNA analog oligonucleotide, in which the fusion protein brings a guanylyl molecule to the 5'end of the RNA or RNA analog oligonucleotide.
