abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire vulcanization apparatus and method capable of producing a tire having a more uniform vulcanization condition by suppressing variation in the internal temperature of a vulcanizing bladder. SOLUTION: A pair of tanks 14A and 14B are connected to a medium loading / unloading pipe 13 extending from the inside to the outside of a bladder 5, and a piston portion 15 for changing the accommodating volume is attached to each tank 14A and 14B. After closing the mold 19 and supplying the vulcanization medium M to the inside of the bladder 5, the operation of sliding each piston portion 15 to increase and decrease the accommodating volume is repeated to increase the accommodating volume of one tank 14A. Occasionally, the storage volume of the other tank 14B is controlled to be reduced, and the storage volume is increased while the vulcanization medium M inside the bladder 5 is discharged to the tank 14 having the increased storage volume through the medium loading / unloading pipe 13.
