abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylic thermoplastic resin capable of obtaining preferable heat resistance and desired optical characteristics, a method for producing the same, a resin composition, and a film. SOLUTION: The area (rr) of a signal which contains a methacrylic acid ester unit and a cyclic imide unit and is observed in a region of 0.70 to 0.95 ppm in a 1 H-NMR spectrum and 0.95-1. .Acrylic thermoplastic resin having an area ratio of rr / mr to the area (mr) of the signal observed in the region of 10 ppm of 1.15 or more. As a result, preferable heat resistance of the resin composition can be obtained, and optical characteristics such as orientation birefringence can be easily adjusted. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
