abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane lens obtained from a thermoplastic polyurethane resin and capable of suppressing shrinkage, and a method for producing the same. A polyurethane lens 1 molded from a thermoplastic polyurethane resin includes a lens portion 2 and a gate portion 3 continuous with the lens portion 2, and the gate portion 3 has a straight gate shape. Further, the method for manufacturing a polyurethane lens includes a preparatory step for preparing a thermoplastic polyurethane resin and a molding step for injection molding the thermoplastic polyurethane resin into a lens shape, and the thermoplastic polyurethane resin is supplied to a mold in the molding step.
