abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method for efficiently adsorbing and removing a persistent substance in an aquatic environment and a water treatment apparatus for use in the method. According to the present invention, a subject containing a persistent substance, which comprises (a) a step of adsorbing and concentrating a persistent substance by an adsorbed substance; and (b) a step of electrolyzing the persistent substance.
