titleOfInvention | Cylinder bore wall warmer, internal combustion engine, automobile |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating tool for a cylinder bore wall in which the difference in the amount of thermal deformation between the upper side and the lower side of the cylinder bore wall is reduced. SOLUTION: A heat insulating tool 36a on a cylinder bore wall is made of an expanding material, has a space portion 25 serving as a cooling water holding portion after expansion in a central portion, and comes into contact with a wall surface on the cylinder bore side of the groove-shaped cooling water flow path after expansion. An expansion member 31a to be used and an elastic member 33 for urging the expansion member 31a to be pressed are attached, and the entire expansion member is pressed from the back surface side toward the wall surface of the groove-shaped cooling water flow path on the cylinder bore side. 32, which is provided on the contact surface side of the expansion member 31a, has the first opening 301 inside, and the rear side pressing portion 32 sandwiches the outer edge side of the expansion member 31a. It has the front side backing plate 30 for the purpose, the expansion member 31a, the back side pressing part 32, and one or more fixing parts for fixing the front side backing plate 30 as an integral heat insulating part.
