Bispecific antibodies with constant region mutations and their use |
abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the production and purification of a bispecific antibody. The present invention relates to bispecific antibodies having mutations in the CH1 / CL boundary and CH3 region that increase the yield and purity of the desired heterodimer. The present invention also relates to mutations in human IgG immunoglobulins in the CH1 / CL boundary and / or CH3 constant region that increase heterodimer formation in bispecific antibodies. Since no mutations have occurred in the variable region, the resulting bispecific antibody retains the functional characteristics of each parent antibody. Also provided herein are nucleic acids encoding bispecific antibodies, host cells, and methods for treating disease with these bispecific antibodies. [Selection diagram] None |
