PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a population of hematopoietic precursors and a method for enriching stem cells for hematopoietic precursors. Methods for enriching a population of stem cells for hematopoietic precursors are described herein. The method is a step of inducing hematopoietic differentiation in a population of human embryonic stem cells or human induced pluripotent stem cells; Step sorted based on the expression of at least one of; and CD34 + CD43 - , CD31 + CD43 − and CD144 + CD43 − .
