abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently regenerate an anionic Mg-Al layered double hydroxide (Mg-Al LDH) used in an acidic exhaust gas treatment into a carbonated Mg-Al LDH. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for regenerating oxides and an acidic exhaust gas treatment facility. SOLUTION: An anion type Mg-Al LDH generated by an acidic exhaust gas treatment using a carbonic acid type Mg-Al LDH is brought into contact with water and a mixed gas having a concentration of 5 vol% or more and containing carbon dioxide at 70 ° C. or higher to carbonate the carbonic acid.
