abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a heteronuclear dinuclear complex capable of selectively synthesizing a heteronuclear lanthanide complex and an up-conversion illuminant. A method for producing a heteronuclear dinuclear complex, which is a complex of two molecules of a thiacarix [4] allene compound and three molecules of two different lanthanides, the same as the thiacarix [4] allene compound. The first step of complexing one lanthanide to obtain an intermediate which is a complex of one molecule of the thiacarix [4] allene compound and one molecule of the first lanthanide, and the first step. The thiacarix [4] arene compound is obtained by complexing the second step of separating the intermediate obtained in the step with the second lanthanide different from the first lanthanide and the intermediate. A method for producing a heteronuclear dinuclear complex, which comprises a third step of obtaining a heteronuclear dinuclear complex which is a complex of a molecule and three different types of lanthanides.
