abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for suppressing a decrease in water treatment efficiency of a water treatment apparatus using an osmotic pressure generating agent having a (semi) interpenetrating structure. An osmotic pressure generating agent used in a positive osmotic membrane method, the osmotic pressure generating agent contains a hydrophilic resin and a stimulus-responsive resin, and the hydrophilic resin contains a hydroxyl group, a carboxyl group, and a sulfonic acid.
