PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a simple method for obtaining skeletal muscle cells from skin. The present invention comprises cutting skin obtained from a mammal into sections of 0.01 to 100 mm 2 and culturing the sections for 5 to 35 days without enzymatic decomposition treatment from mammalian skin. Provided are methods for preparing skeletal muscle stem cells, myoblasts and / or skeletal muscle cells.
