titleOfInvention Optical module and its sealing method
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module having a package structure which prevents dew condensation inside an optical module and has high moisture resistance. An optical module in which an optical component is housed in a space composed of a housing and a cap, and having a sealing portion in which an O-ring and a sealing agent are sandwiched between the housing and the cap. In the sealing portion, a sealant is arranged on the outside of the O-ring, and the surface of the O-ring that is not in contact with the outer housing and the cap is covered with the sealant without a gap. The structure is such that the enclosed space is filled with a sealant. [Selection diagram] Fig. 2
