abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for controlling the timing at which sorting is performed in order to improve the sorting performance of particles in a technique for sorting target fine particles in a flow path. SOLUTION: In a sorting method for sorting particles flowing through a flow path, based on at least one of information on a target purity and a target yield of the target particles in the acquired particles. Provided is a preparative control device having a preparative control unit for adjusting parameters for determining preparative conditions. Further, it is a particle sorting device that separates particles flowing through a flow path, and is a light detection unit that detects optical information obtained from the sample liquid, and the sample liquid based on the detected optical information. A parameter that determines the preparative conditions based on at least one of the preparative part that sorts the particles from the inside, the information on the target purity of the target particles in the acquired particles, and the information on the target yield.
