abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining silver nanoparticles having good physical properties by a method in which the amount of amine having a strong pungent odor is suppressed. SOLUTION: A thermally decomposable silver compound (a) is reacted with an amine compound (b) capable of forming a complex with (a) to form a complex, and the obtained complex is heated and thermally decomposed. This is a method for producing silver nanoparticles that form silver nanoparticles, wherein (b) is an amino alcohol having 6 or less carbon atoms and having one primary amino group or one secondary amino group and one hydroxyl group.
