abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfectant diffusion device and a disinfectant diffusion method capable of stably diffusing a disinfectant while having excellent design. SOLUTION: A disinfectant diffusing device 10 stores a disinfectant containing chlorine dioxide and a disinfectant, and stores a first container 130 provided with a first opening and a second opening. It is provided with a second container 100 of ceramics provided with. The first container 130 is located below the first portion that defines the first opening, the second portion that is located below the first portion and has a diameter larger than that of the first opening, and below the second portion. The second container 100 has a third portion having a diameter larger than that of the second portion, the second container 100 houses the first container 130, the main body portion 120 provided with the second opening, and the lid portion 110 that fits into the second opening.
