abstract 【Task】 An object of the present invention is to provide a composition having an action of promoting keratinizing film formation with the aim of effectively utilizing and adding value to discarded pomegranate seeds. SOLUTION: The composition that promotes the formation of a keratinized film of the present invention is characterized by containing a pomegranate seed extract. Further, in a preferred embodiment of the composition for promoting the formation of a keratinized film of the present invention, the pulverized product obtained by pulverizing pomegranate seeds is at least one selected from the group consisting of ethanol, methanol, water and hexane. The pomegranate seed extract was obtained by immersing in a solvent and separating the supernatant. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1
