abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screening method capable of searching for a PKCη expression regulator which can be a candidate substance for a malignant tumor therapeutic agent or a hair growth regulator easily and with high reliability, a vector used therefor, a transformant, and the screening method. The PKCη expression inhibitor and the like obtained in the above are provided. SOLUTION: A vector containing a nucleic acid having a base sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 or SEQ ID NO: 2 upstream of a reporter gene, a transformant containing the same, and the following (A), (B) and (C). A method for screening a PKCη expression regulator using the transformant and a PKCη expression inhibitor obtained by the screening method are provided.
