PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new sugar substitute food which is a sweetener which can be stored at room temperature. SOLUTION: A sugar substitute food is a food stored at room temperature, is a syrup-like liquid containing (a) 10 to 33% by weight of inulin and (b) 65 to 90% by weight of warm water, and has a pH of 4.0. ~ 8.6, housed in a portion container and sealed.
