titleOfInvention | Detection reagents and electrode arrangements for multi-specimen diagnostic test elements, and methods of using them |
abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection reagent, a test element for multi-sample diagnosis, a test system, and a multi-sample measurement method. A multi-specimen test element is a pair of a first working electrode and a first counter electrode covered with a first analyte-specific reagent containing an enzyme, a coenzyme and a first mediator, and an enzyme. It has a second working electrode, which is covered with a second analyte-specific reagent, including a coenzyme and a second mediator, where the first mediator is different from the second mediator. A single counter electrode can be used as the counter electrode for both the first and second analyte measurements at each working electrode. Moreover, the mediator concentration, measurement range, and applied potential difference are not the same in each analyte-specific measurement. [Selection diagram] FIG. 2A |
