abstract |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the PM collection rate of a filter at an early stage while suppressing the amount of electric power for charging PM. An internal combustion engine 100 charges and aggregates an engine main body 1, a filter 34 provided in an exhaust passage of the engine main body 1 to collect PM in exhaust gas, and PM in exhaust gas flowing into the filter 34. It is provided with a coagulation device 35 for making the engine. The control device 200 for controlling the internal combustion engine 100 includes a PM charge control unit that controls the charge amount of PM in the exhaust gas flowing into the filter 34. The PM charge control unit controls the aggregating device 35 so that when the PM charge amount of the filter 34 is large, the PM charge amount is smaller than when the PM charge amount is small.
