titleOfInvention Gas dehydrating agent
abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dehydrating agent having high caulking resistance. SOLUTION: A dehydrating agent containing a zeolite containing potassium and magnesium and having a mordenite type structure. The molar ratio of SiO 2 to Al 2 O 3 of the zeolite is preferably 8.0 to 12.0. Since the dehydrating agent has a low adsorption amount of hydrocarbons, caulking is unlikely to occur. Therefore, it is suitable for adsorbing and removing water over a long period of time, and can be used in the dehydration process of a chemical plant that handles hydrocarbon gas.
