abstract An aerosolizable product comprising (a) an aerosol-forming material and (b) a substrate material that is at least calcium carbonate, wherein the total surface area of calcium carbonate present in the aerosolizable product is aerosolizable. Aerosolizable products are provided that are at least 25 m 2 per gram of aerosol-forming material present in the product. Further provided are an aerosolizable product containing (a) an aerosol-forming material and (b) a solid substrate material that is at least calcium carbonate, which is in solid form and can be aerosolized. Further, an aerosolizable product containing (a) an aerosol-forming material and (b) a base material which is at least calcium carbonate, wherein the calcium carbonate is at least 80 wt.
