abstract | Embodiments herein provide an LED-based vaginal phototherapy device for multiple bacterial and fungal infections. The device includes an LED body, cervical support, single or multiple LEDs, switches, tethers, microchips and a battery. One end of the device may include a cervical support for smooth placement of the device against the cervix. A plurality of LEDs are provided on the LED main body. The LED body comprises one or more LEDs, each of which emits light having a wavelength within the range of phototherapy. The microchip is housed in the LED body.
