Projects extended information onto an object that includes at least a processor, a memory device operably connected to the processor, a projector operably connected to the processor, and a distance measuring device operably connected to the processor. It is an imaging system. The memory device stores the extended image information, and the processor projects the extended image information onto the object. The distance measuring device measures the distance to an object. The processor adjusts the scale of the extended image information by using the distance measurement information from the distance measurement device. The processor provides the projector with extended image information that has been scaled. This system can also be used for fluorescence imaging during open surgery, endoscopic fluorescence imaging, and alignment of surgical instruments. [Selection diagram] Fig. 1 |
