The present invention provides a method for improving the life of a lithium-sulfur battery, which includes an activation step of forming a compound derived from a positive electrode active material having a solubility of 1% by weight or more in an electrolytic solution by charging and discharging the battery. In the activation step, the lithium-sulfur battery may be charged/discharged within the range of more than 2.0V and less than 2.4V. Also, during the activation step, the lithium-sulfur battery is charged and discharged 3 to 10 times. |
