abstract The electronic device according to the present invention includes a camera, a communication module, and a processor. The processor is operably coupled to the camera and communication module. The processor captures a first image corresponding to the external object using the camera, and uses the first image to generate a second image having a size smaller than the size of the data of the first image, and communicating. The second image is transmitted to the external electronic device through the module, and the correction area information is received from the external electronic device through the communication module. The correction area information is based on information related to the image area identified from the second image.
